Great Yarmouth is situated on Britain's east coast, in the county of Norfolk. It is approximately 20 miles east of the city of Norwich and is served by both road and rail.


How to get here

Road - From London and the south: If travelling on the M11, turn off Junction 11 onto the A11 to the outskirts of Norwich. Turn off onto the A47 to Great Yarmouth. Once there, follow the brown road signs for the seafront. 

Road - From the Midlands: From the M6, head for the A14/A143/A146 and back onto the A143. The A12 needs to be taken into the town. Directions then as above.

Road - From the North: Head towards the A17 near Newark, then the A47 near King's Lynn. Continue east on the A47, until reaching the A12 into Great Yarmouth. Directions then as above.

Public Transport: There are regular bus and rail services to the town and Norwich has a regional airport. Rail services all depart via Norwich.
